II. @USDai_Official happened to pop up at the right time and narrative (stablecoins, ICO, AI).
Currently, it's the third largest protocol on @arbitrum by TVL ($582M) and will undoubtedly grow beyond as caps for deposits increase.
III. "But what is this?"
@USDai_Official aims to tokenize real-world assets, mainly focusing on those related to GPUs.
This enables companies like NVIDIA, Rockchip, and other GPU providers to use their GPU hardware as collateral to borrow money for investment, R&D, etc.
IV. As the depreciation of GPUs is relatively fast, the loan duration is always 2-3 years at 10-15% APY.
"Who is backing them?"
They are backed by @yzilabs (raised $17.4M) and collaborated with @Plasma, @QumulusAI ($500M financing), @eulerfinance and a ton of others.
V. Similar to how a regular company undergoes an IPO to be listed, @USDai_Official is running a points (Allo) program to provide people with ICO allocation.
"Will there be an airdrop, though?"
VI. Yes, 7% of the supply will be allocated to the ICO (at $300M FDV), and 3% will go to the airdrop.
"How can I earn points?"
VII. So, @USDai_Official decided to do something I've never seen before. They split points into two alignments:
- ICO Alignment (earned by utilizing USDai)
- Airdrop Alignment (earned by utilizing sUSDai)
"Could you elaborate a bit?..."
VIII. In summary, to participate in an ICO, you need to purchase $USDai & deposit it somewhere (because of the multipliers).
Note: You can't deposit directly into @USDai_Official because the caps are full. IMO, the best option is @pendle_fi, as it offers the highest multiplier.
IX. If you want to receive an airdrop, you will want to utilize $sUSDai, and I believe LPing through @pendle_fi is by far the best option.
