An exciting vision of the future from @GeoffTRichards
“Instead of trusting documents, you trust the cryptography.” - @GeoffTRichards, Head of Community at @OntologyNetwork Dr. Geoff Richards' highly innovative Agent analogy is a demonstration of what verifiable AI interactions could look like when zero-knowledge proofs are built into everyday systems. In his demonstration, he has an AI Agent apply for a job on his behalf, submitting a verifiable proof of qualification on-chain. The employer can check the cryptographic proof - verifying that Geoff is qualified - without ever needing to see his private details, identity documents, or personal history. The point he’s making is that in a future where agents act on our behalf, trust cannot rely on opaque data exchanges or unverifiable claims. Instead of trusting documents or centralized databases, we trust cryptography itself. Each credential is signed by a valid issuer, and each interaction can be verified without revealing sensitive information. Watch the full keynote from Verifying Intelligence at @token2049 to see how verifiable credentials and zero-knowledge proofs can enable trust without exposure - a core principle for AI-agent ecosystems where machines, not people, handle most interactions:
