How do I open an account to start using CeDeFi trading?

  • You don't need a traditional account to use DEX. You can create or restore a wallet directly in the app using a Passkey (iOS 16+ or Android 8+ with Google services enable).

  • Once your DEX wallet is created, you can immediately start trading supported DEX tokens.

How do I use CeDeFi trading without a wallet?

No, you can't. Before you can trade, you must first create a DEX trading wallet. Each user can only have one DEX trading wallet.

  • All DEX trades are executed through the DEX trading wallet:

    • When buying DEX tokens: Assets from your trading account are automatically transferred into the DEX trading wallet and used to complete the purchase. The purchased tokens will remain in your DEX trading wallet.

    • When selling DEX tokens: The tokens will be transferred back into the DEX trading wallet first, and then returned to your trading account.

  • Note: you can't deposit funds directly into the DEX trading wallet, nor withdraw funds directly from it.
